Thank you for trusting me to give my advice to you. However, I don’t think there is such thing as the “ultimate” earphone or headphone because it depends on our preferences. For your budget, I would recommend Sennheiser PX100 or iGrado (though I haven’t listen to iGrado, but I heard some people said it’s a bit better than PX100). dbE Acoustic PR20 is good, but I still prefer Sennheiser PX100.

I’ve been looking for a new pair of earphones for my iPod, and i ended up reading your review about dbE Acoustic PR20 and clicked the link to this page. To make it short, I need your advice for the “ultimate” earphone / headphone that I should buy. But please consider that I won’t pay more than $50 for an earphone / headphone.
